The Continental Cup is out of my price range but the Duluth Cashpiel is looking interesting to me.
Does anyone have any dates or if they're any hotels within walking distance to the club? Is there a Best Western nearby? I'd heard something about skyline walkways connecting the club to downtown?

Last year's event was November 9-12, 2007.
I don't believe the 2008/09 calendar is set yet, but I just got off the phone with a board member, and he believes it's November 7-9.
There are a TON of hotels within walking distance, and a couple that are attached to the skywalk system.
Let me know if you need more information.

Looking for a motel that 1-2 star that's close...don't want to spend a lot for the room (I guess I'm cheap on that front).
Will there be a women's event? If Debbie's teams is there, I think I'll go.

There was a women's event at the last one, though there were only enough teams to do a split round-robin. Debbie's team was among them.
If you don't mind a ~10 minute drive, there's a Red Roof Inn not too far from the club. Man, are their beds comfortable!

Nice place to visit in the summer, too...all 4-6 weeks of it. ha
