Need a Junior Women's Team in Alberta

Hey, I live in Manitoba and I'm thinking about moving to Alberta for the 2008-2009 year to go to school, but I'm a competitive curler and would really like to keep curling. I'm 17 and have been curling competitively for four years, once as a second, once as a third and twice as a skip. I've won my zone the last three years in a row and competed in provincials in Manitoba those three times. I'm willing to devote as much time that is needed to curling and I'm very serious about it. I can play any position. I'm thinking about going to Calgary, so anywhere in that area would be good. Let me know if you're interested.

Call the associations to further put your name out there (Northern Alberta Curling Association and Southern Alberta Curling Association). There are many teams looking for players right now but you have to get on it quick...Generally teams are chosen by or just after the Kevin Martin Junior Spiel on April 25-27. Make some calls, the Alberta Junior Ladies team from this 2008 Nationals have two players that are aging out so they are looking for strong players in the calgary region. There is also players in both the Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary areas that are single players looking for a team so also keep that in mind. If you need help give me an email at Colin.hodgson@shaw.ca
