Jennifer Jones

After the loss to China...The words and actions of Jennifer Jones and Cathy Overton-Clapham are embarrassing. Please be gracious in defeat. You cannot blame China for being excited. When you lose don't blame the ice. When Kelly Scott lost out at The Scotties you didn't hear her making excuses. It is no surprise that myself and others are not cheering for Team Canada.

your a true Canadian I can tell. Good or bad Im in ..............you bail way to go..........

Slide on................:)

PS dont want you on my team.

J Jones is hot...

not only is she hot....she's mint with a nice butt too

She's going to have to get steel toed curling shoes if she keeps kicking rocks. The vice on Japan and the vice on Switzerland, the lead on Denmark and the 2nd on Germany are the cream of the crop. Not that I noticed.

Not only steel toed curling shoes, but maybe a football helmet too. In the junior final in 1994, she had her head down when the sweepers were finished sweeping a draw and one of them nailed her between the eyes when they lifted their brushes up.

Don't forget the two rocks kicked during the US/CAN game.

I love Jennifer Jones to death.
She is the sweetest!

All I can say to the negatives here are when you screw up dont you initially blame something or someone, come on we all do it, we just are not on national tv with a microphone hooked to us, I would like to see all the negative commenters here in that situation and see how they handle it. I think we are very professional out there, we should all be proud of our girls and guys, at least we have the freedom here to support them.

Go Team Canada Go!!!

Did I just hear them saying that CBC Bold (formerly Country Canada) was covering Canada vs. Denmark from Grand Forks on April, 5th?

Ok, I just found it, but not on the CBC curling page:

04/05/2008 08:00 PM ET CHAMPIONSHIP CURLING ON CBC: Men's World Curling Championship-Canada vs. DEN. CBC-Bold

and they list other Canadian games too.

I've never been a big fan of Jennifer Jones or her team. As a matter of fact they were the only team I'd hoped wouldn't win the Scotties. However I didnt want to see them lose to China. It's sad seeing the Chinese team slip through the cracks like that and climb their way to the top with a fluke of a week. Even if we were represented by those egotistical crybabies I'm sure glad Canada won the world Championship.

I am a great curling fan & very disappointed re the number of games we saw during the men's world play. Looking forward to watching & helping pass the long winter didn't work that well this year. For the negative remarks about the different teams I would like to see the ones that make these remarks out on the ice doing the job the curlers do under the pressure "we all put them under". Most of us think the Canadian teams should not loose a game!!!! Anyway Canadian curlers keep up the good work & hopefully next year I will be able to watch more games.

Don't be so quick to defend the curlers that have been getting negative remarks. Sure you can defend them by saying the usual "I would like to see you do what J Jones did under pressure" but understand, when you represent the country that has dominated the sport for years, you are open to critisism, not only that but when you make stupid comments about the ice and the opponents after the game, of course you're gonna be critisized for the way you represent yourself and your team.

So next time before you post something stupid, just stop, leave your computer desk and go play in your tuesday afternoon 60+ ladies league and leave the posting to real curlers.
